Dell XPS 8700 - Restarts after loading Kexts

Hi.. I've discovered this forum on your youtube channel. I am amused by the work you've put into Hackintosh installers. Great job on that.

I've purchased a DELL XPS 8700 recently and had poor luck installing Hackintosh on it.

Processor: Intel Core 4th Generation i7-4770 Processor (8M Cache, up to 3.9 GHz)
12 GB Dual Channel DDR3 SDRAM at 1600MHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 645 1.0GB GDDR5 (REMOVED)


I tried both your BOOT USB OS X MOUNTAIN LION+POSTINSTALL-V6 and BOOT USB OS X MAVERICKS+POSTINSTALL-V1

I've uploaded my boot

with the card try

GraphicsEnabler=No PCIRootUID=1 dart=0 -v -x  

try to Enable multi display

I tried GraphicsEnabler=No PCIRootUID=1 dart=0 -v -x with and w/o enabling multiple display .. No Luck  

Do u think this motherboard is cursed ???

yes its cursed    Iprepared a efi folder (CLOVER) send you 10 min   

HA!! not for the efi folder, its not work for the moment, you can't try
my Installer clover with ML 10.8.4 and after the drive its finish replace the mach_kernel  

Clover boot where chameleon not booting , you have nothing to lose my freind    

The Installer works samething like the other one, just open Installesd.dmg and formate the usb and ran the installer, after change the mach-kernel for haswel cpu

I am using the clover installer you just posted with 10.8.4 ESD. Prepare the USB the same way as the rest of your installers and then replace mach_kernel with the one you provided.

yes is good but you not need to chosse pc support with this installer, clover recognize pc or laptop, I hope its work     

the clover boot loader looks pretty cool ..


I tried with different boot flags ..

-v

-v darkawake=0 npci=0x2000

-v GraphicsEnabler=Yes/No

-v -x -f

-v -x -f GraphicsEnabler=No

-v -x -f GraphicsEnabler=No PCIRootUID=1 dart=0

No LUCkk ... same panic ..


I am using the integrated graphics ..

ok go to clover options / Graphicsinjector and clic enter(remove the +) , now return / return
and boot

Same panic ..

It tried to boot with -v darkwake=0 npci=0x2000:headbang: :headbang: 

did you try to update for the latest bios maiby helps

You know what, may be I will return this computer .. its still under return period ..

I'll spend some extra money and may be build a custom mac .. should make life a lot easier

What would be your advise ? I need a mac for Xcode programming.. No big specs needed but good to have ...

Do u think its wise to wait till they unvail the new Haswell Mac Mini's and buy one (i7) for 700$ ( Hassle free ) .. or spend the same money on a kick-ass i7. I can build much cheaper as I already have a 256 Gig SSD, 128 Gig SSD and 16 GB Coraiser RAM


Say if I buy the same exact model you have in your sig. Do u think whatever version of new OS X comes in, it will be compatible ???

ok Gygabytes Z77 AND 787 is compatible with all MAC OS X  
Z77 is lower price because the salers whant to get rid of ivy cpu

and Haswell mutch more higher   

A lot of guys Installe Mavericks GM with my installer on Z77 build easily
full fonctional 100% and samething for haswell builds   

Thats pretty cool .. No I want to buy the latest one...

Which one do u think is better, Gigabit Z87M-D3H or GIGABYTE GA-Z87X-OC (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128594) I've heard good reviews about this one...

Also can you suggest a cheap graphics card (1Gig) around 100 ~ 125$ price range that is fully compatible with OS X...

No, I've returned the PC. Bought parts same on Chris's advise and build my own.

Life is way smoother with custom build
