HP Elitebook 8560p - Catalina Empty HP Elitebook 8560p - Catalina

Message par anok666 Jeu 30 Avr - 12:56

Hello

I'm using HP Elitebook 8560p with 8GB Ram and HDD 500GB and BIOS Version F63. Unfortunately, I have updated my bios version several years ago to F63 and I'm not able to downgrade the BIOS Version to F50 since apparently HP blocked the downgrade process to older version of BIOS

When I install Catalina, I manage to install the OS correctly although my Graphic Card, Intel HD 3000, only recognized using 3MB  and when I upgraded to 10.15.4 using combo update, it still works fine only the Graphic Card still a problem.

Is it possible to use HP Probook Elitebook Installer with BIOS version F63 ? And after that update the Graphic Card using Legacy Video patch ?

Thanks

of course you can using Legacy Video Patch after update
Legacy Video Patch is now separate of the program for some reason

the bios version has no relation with safe or not
either way you install macOS with Create Install Media, not with HP Probook Elitebook Installer
