Elitebook 2570p High Sierra WWAN problem

Hello,

i successfully installed High Sierra on my Elitebook 2570p with triple boot into windows, linux and macos with Your video tutorial and tools chris1111. Almost everything works , but i have a problem with wwan card hp hs2340 hspa + (its f5521gw sony ericsson branded for hp). So i did everything i found on internet forums - edited CellPhoneHelper.kext, IO something kext, and it shows in system report in usb section and wwan section. But it doesnt show in network preferences untill i install USBInjectAll.kext. Only then i can choose my wwan card and connect. But this solution isnt perfect - my boot time is way longer because usbinjectall is not meant to be used permamently. So i was wondering if something could be done about that - maybe dsdt /ssdt edits or individual port injector kext for that specific wwan card port. Unfortunately, im still learning and for now i do not know what to do next. If you could help me i would be very glad. If you need some screenshots, or files from efi folder, just say a word. This is not working you have to use a MINI PCI Wifi compatible like
WIFI Broadcom BCM943224hms

If you have an Intel Centrino you have to change the card

My wifi card is working fine, i have two mini pci cards (laptop has 2 slots) - one is atheros wifi card (works ok) and the second one is wwan card hp hs2340 (this allows to use gprs/3G with sim card) - and that only works / allows to connect in network preferences with usbinjectall

Please post exact method and FILE you have using for working WWAN
also maybe bios setup ?

Okay, so first step was to make sure wwan card works, in windows and linux its working just fine.

1. Edit CellPhoneHelper.kext using this guide:

the vendor edits depends on what model of card you have. Best to use vanilla CellPhoneHelper.kext from S/L/E and edit it acordingly. I didnt have that vanilla kext in my S/L/E (dont know why), so i took one from my virtual machine high sierra

2. Edit IOSerialFamily.kext (AppleWWANSupport kexts inside /contents/plugins folder of IOSerialFamily.kext) using this guide:

(edit - this is tony mac x 86 .com site, i do not know why it was changed)

make sure device name and ids are the same in all edited kexts

3. Install both kexts in /S/L/E using kext installer (im using kext wizard), rebuld permissions and cache

4. Restart.

Now in "this mac" - system raport - wwan i saw my wwan card, but for now it was not possible to coonect, or choose that in network preferences.

5. Install usbinjectall.kext same method as before, restart.

It is now possible to connect.

About bios settings - nothing special in particular, everything was set exact as in your tutorial on github

Did you try USBInjectAll in Clover ?

Yes, its effect is the same as when in /S/L/E

what is the exact CPU you have ?

I have i7 3630qm, in attachment my whole acpi folder fom efi, with ssdt and dsdt

ok try this DSDT then you have to remove USBInjecAll

backup your DSDT then change

Nothing changed with edited dsdt. But i discovered that somehow my edits in IOSerialFamily.kext were nowhere to be found so i edited that one more time and there it was after restart - i could select my wwan card in network preferences. Though something is still not good, because now when i try to conect with that, it says "conecting" for a while, and then it says "disconecting" and an error pops up "the connection with ppp server cannot be established...". That probably is not fixable through kexts or dsdt patches so i have to dig deeper.
